Step 1: Match your airport and borough to the right rate structure
Start by confirming which NYC-area airport you are using and whether your trip starts or ends in Manhattan, an outer borough or the Tri-State suburbs. Manhattan transfers to and from the three major commercial airports use published all-inclusive flat rates:

Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut airport transfers—plus inter-airport transfers like JFK ↔ EWR, JFK ↔ LGA and LGA ↔ EWR—are quoted for your exact pickup and drop-off address.
Step 2: Four details that prevent airport pickup delays
1. Operating airline & flight number
Always provide the operating flight number (not just a scheduled landing time). Our dispatch system tracks actual wheels-down time and adjusts pickup for early or delayed arrivals.
2. Realistic passenger & bag count
Sedans hold up to 3 passengers and 3 standard bags; SUVs hold up to 6 passengers and 6 standard bags; Executive Sprinters hold up to 14 passengers and 14 standard bags.
3. Curbside vs. Meet & Greet preference
Curbside pickup is included in your rate. Select Meet & Greet during booking if you want Chauffeur Meet & Greet inside arrivals, a Dedicated Airport Greeter, or Airport Fast Track.
4. Child seats & special requests
Pre-arranged infant, convertible or booster seats are $25 per seat when requested with 48 hours' notice. Include child seat types and stroller counts in your booking notes.
Step 3: Plan realistic departure buffers from NYC to the airport
While inbound arrivals adjust automatically with flight tracking, outbound trips to the airport depend on bridge, tunnel and expressway conditions plus airline check-in cutoffs. We never guarantee travel times, so build conservative buffers into your pickup time:
- Domestic departures from Manhattan: most travelers schedule hotel or residence pickup 3 to 3.5 hours before flight departure (allowing 45–90 minutes for Van Wyck, Grand Central or Lincoln/Holland Tunnel traffic and 2 hours inside the terminal).
- International departures & weekday afternoon peaks (3:00 PM–7:00 PM): schedule pickup 3.5 to 4.5 hours before flight departure, especially for evening transatlantic flights out of JFK or Newark.
- Holiday weeks & major event days: add an extra 30 to 60 minutes whenever gridlock alerts, marathon/parade street closures or severe weather affect river crossings.
Airport transfer planning FAQs
How much wait time is included when my flight lands at JFK, LGA or EWR?
Domestic airport arrivals include 60 minutes of complimentary wait time and international arrivals include 90 minutes from actual flight arrival. Outbound pickups from a hotel, home or office include 15 minutes of complimentary wait time.
What if my flight is delayed by two hours or diverted?
When you provide your flight number at booking, we track your flight status and adjust dispatch for delays under our flight-delay policy. If your airline changes your flight number or rebooks you on a different flight, message us as soon as possible so we track the new flight.
Do I select a pickup time when booking an airport arrival?
Enter your flight's scheduled arrival time and flight number on the booking form. We track actual landing time and apply your 60-minute domestic or 90-minute international wait window from when the aircraft lands.
Can I book both my arrival and return departure at the same time?
Yes. You can submit both legs when requesting a quote or book each transfer with its respective flight number, terminal and pickup address.
