Tunnel & Bridge Routes to Newark

Holland Tunnel
Best for trips originating from Lower Manhattan, SoHo, Tribeca, or the Financial District. Connects to I-78 and the NJ Turnpike. Tighter clearance than Lincoln — not available for Sprinter vans. Sedan and SUV only.
George Washington Bridge
Alternative route from Upper Manhattan or the Upper West Side. Connects to I-95 south to the NJ Turnpike. Adds 10–15 minutes vs. Lincoln Tunnel off-peak but avoids Midtown congestion entirely. Often the smartest route during evening rush.

Customs & Immigration
Non-United international flights arrive at Terminal B. United international arrives at Terminal C. U.S. citizens and Global Entry holders clear in 10–20 minutes. Non-U.S. passports: 30–60 minutes. Our 60-minute wait time covers this.
Baggage Claim
Bags typically appear 15–25 minutes after clearing customs. Terminal B can be slower during peak afternoon hours (3–6 PM). Your chauffeur is already positioned curbside while you collect bags.
