Hamptons
Car Service
Chauffeured sedans, SUVs, and Sprinter vans for South Fork trips — New York City transfers, airport runs, hourly days, weddings, and groups.
You can request a chauffeured car for Hamptons trips. Chauffeur Service NYC publishes door-to-door pickup across the South Fork, with hourly as-directed service covering all five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester, northern New Jersey, and southwestern Connecticut. No page states an exact boundary, so confirm your address at booking.
Published:flat-rate airport transfers with instant online pricing, no surge at any hour, six vehicle classes from Executive Sedan to Jet Sprinter, complimentary wait time on every pickup type, and free cancellation 24 or more hours ahead. The Hamptons isn't one trip — a Quogue airport run, a Sag Harbor dinner, and a Bridgehampton wedding are three different problems. Pre-arranging fixes four things: the price is quoted before you travel, the vehicle class is named, the pickup point is agreed, and the return is decided early.
Licensed, insured for-hire ground transportation. See our About and Credentials & Trust pages for how the service operates.

Why South Fork rides are arranged in advance
One region, many different trips
A Quogue airport run, a Sag Harbor dinner, and a Bridgehampton wedding are three different problems — pre-arranging settles the price, the vehicle class, and the pickup point for each.
Price fixed before the ride
The vehicle class is named, the price is quoted in advance for point-to-point and hourly trips, and nothing is added after the fact.
Continuity where it's published
On hourly / as-directed bookings, the chauffeur stays with you throughout with no rebooking between stops. Across two separate transfers, don't assume the same car returns.
The return, decided early
Book the return leg with the outbound trip so the end of a wedding, dinner, or theatre night doesn't become its own project.
Built for how the East End actually moves
Residents book early departures. Visitors book NYC transfers. Groups plan share-house weekends. Wedding parties arrive together across multiple venues.
Assistance available on request
Older adults and passengers with mobility needs can ask at booking what assistance is available, so it's arranged in advance rather than at the curb.
Choose the right service format
What are you doing on the South Fork?
Arriving from New York City
One fixed leg. Give both addresses and say whether you want a return leg.
Catching or meeting a flight
Give airline, flight number, and terminal; wait time runs from actual landing.
A beach day
Coolers, chairs, and boards may need a larger class — name the beach when you book.
Dinner, a tasting, or a gallery afternoon
Several stops with uncertain timing read as hourly.
A wedding or benefit
Multi-vehicle, multi-venue — see wedding transportation.
A theatre night
Book the outbound leg and the return leg together.
A group weekend
Head and bag counts are different numbers — give us both.
A private-aviation arrival
Read the private aviation section below first, then confirm the plan with your operator.
Communities people ask about: Westhampton and Westhampton Beach · Quogue · East Quogue · Hampton Bays · Southampton · Water Mill · Sagaponack · Bridgehampton · Sag Harbor · North Haven · Wainscott · East Hampton · Springs · Amagansett · Napeague · Montauk. That maps where South Fork travel is organized — it is not confirmation that any specific address, including private roads and gated associations, is served. Trips starting or ending in Manhattan or Brooklyn have their own service-area pages; ask for the trip to be quoted end to end.
New York City and the airports
No drive times or route instructions appear here on purpose. East End travel time moves with day, hour, weather, and roadwork. Ask dispatch for a departure window in writing, especially for a summer Friday.
Private aviation
East Hampton Town Airport publishes 600 acres on the Town's western border, two runways, a control tower operated only in summer, and 62 private hangars (East Hampton Town). The Town names one Fixed Base Operator, Sound Aircraft Services, at 173 Daniels Hole Road, Wainscott.
That is the airport describing itself. Nothing published establishes that we may enter, stage, or meet passengers airside, and we make no such claim. Our private aviation page lists FBO coordination at Teterboro, Westchester County, and Republic airports — East Hampton and Gabreski are not named there. If your flight lands at either field, confirm the ground arrangement with us and with your operator before your date, rather than assuming planeside pickup.
Rail, bus, and shuttle alternatives
Verified July 31, 2026.
South Fork Commuter Connection
The MTA runs the SFCC as a coordinated weekday train and shuttle service on the east end of the Montauk Branch between Speonk and Montauk, with a $3.75 one-way fare and free shuttle buses (MTA). Two named trains — 3:06 p.m. from Speonk and 4:52 p.m. from Montauk — don't run Fridays from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
Hampton Jitney
Publishes Montauk, Westhampton, North Fork, and Brooklyn lines with South Fork stops from Westhampton through Montauk, plus Islip and Queens airport connection stops; Summer 2026 schedules took effect June 25, 2026 (Hampton Jitney, schedules).
Local shuttles
Hampton Hopper publishes an app-based East End network, most routes free, plus a free Montauk shuttle and charters for weddings and private events (Hampton Hopper).
Beaches and permits
East Hampton Village
Publishes three lifeguard-protected ocean beaches — Main Beach, Georgica, and Two Mile Hollow — with lifeguards 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and daily non-resident parking permits for Main Beach Lot 2 and Two Mile Hollow at $50 per day, sold only through ParkMobile May 15–September 15 (East Hampton Village). The Lumber Lane lot is free for up to 23 hours with no overnight parking.
Southampton Village
Publishes 2026 permits available by mail and in person at Village Hall, with daily passes only at the Cooper's Beach booth (Southampton Village).
Montauk and the state parks
Sag Harbor, Shelter Island, and the ferry
South Ferry publishes crossings every 10 to 15 minutes, 365 days a year, between Shelter Island and North Haven, with docks at 135 South Ferry Road, Shelter Island and 400 Ferry Road, Sag Harbor. Fares are $18 one-way and $25 round-trip, cash only onboard, no reservations (South Ferry). Published first and last boats from Shelter Island are 5:20 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, and 1:45 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Whether the vehicle boards with you is a pricing decision — confirm at booking.
Art, theatre, and tasting stops
Guild Hall, East Hampton
158 Main Street, gallery hours Wednesday to Sunday 12–5 p.m. from August 9, admission $12 or $10 for seniors 65+. Guild Hall advises allowing ample time for parking on Pondview Lane, Main Street, and James Lane (Guild Hall).
Wölffer Estate
Publishes a Visit section covering reservations, its Tasting Room, and its Wine Stand (Wölffer Estate) — reservation-anchored timing pushes a multi-stop day toward hourly. This is South Fork wine country; the larger North Fork cluster is a trip for our Long Island page.
What's on this season

Build your Hamptons itinerary
Illustrative examples only — not operational promises or quoted plans. Paste this into the quote form: pickup address, entrance, and gate code · start time · stops in order with dwell time · deadlines · passenger, bag, and equipment counts · drop-off · return or not.
A city arrival
One fixed leg to a named Southampton street, priced point-to-point.
A beach-and-lunch day
A drop at a named beach, then a lunch pickup — sized above the 3-hour hourly minimum if the car waits.
A theatre evening
A Sag Harbor drop for a published Bay Street curtain, with the return booked at the same time.
Vehicles, luggage, and equipment
Boards, bikes, coolers, garment bags, golf clubs, and dog crates take volume a seat count doesn't describe, and whether each is carried is a dispatch question — ask before you book. If the exact model is unavailable, dispatch explains the substitution before pickup, not at the curb. See the full fleet page for every class.
Weddings, events, and groups
Wedding transportationis a full-day plan built with your planner — party pickups, staggered ceremony arrivals, photo transfers, guest shuttle loops, and a departure vehicle under one booking, with 2 to 4 weeks' notice recommended and earlier for the May-to-October peak. For other events, 2 to 4 weeks is typical, or 4 to 6 weeks for five or more vehicles — see event transportation. Venues set their own gate, loading, staging, and curfew rules — if yours requires a certificate of insurance or a restricted arrival window, send it to dispatch early.
How pricing works, without inventing a number
Airport transfers are flat-rate, and quotes are all-inclusive of tolls, parking, and fuel, with gratuity optional and no surge pricing. When a booking touches Manhattan, the congestion toll is built into the quote as well (MTA). Point-to-point is a single fixed price based on pickup, destination, vehicle class, and time of day. Hourly is billed per hour with a 3-hour minimum and 30-minute extensions. No page publishes a confirmed South Fork rate — treat any figure elsewhere as unconfirmed and price your trip in the booking form.
Quote-readiness checklist: date · pickup window · pickup address, entrance, and gate access · drop-off · stops in order · passenger and bag counts · vehicle class · format · return leg · flight or sailing details · accessibility needs.
What happens if…
Settle these at booking, not on the night.
Your flight moves
Wait time runs from actual recorded arrival, not the schedule.
Dinner runs long
Wait time between stops is included inside an hourly booking; for a scheduled return, ask how a late finish is priced.
The beach flag is red
East Hampton Village publishes a flag system and water-quality alerts — check before you plan the day.
A road is dug up
Southampton Village publishes construction alerts — build margin into your pickup window.
You miss the last ferry
South Ferry publishes first and last sailings and takes cash only — confirm the schedule before you rely on it.
You need to cancel
24+ hours ahead is a full refund or credit; 12–24 hours 50%; 2–12 hours 75%; under 2 hours or a no-show, full fare. Changes 24+ hours ahead are free.
Accessibility and multigenerational planning
Say what's needed at booking
Child seats, extra luggage space, meet-and-greet, and mobility needs should be confirmed before the vehicle is assigned — not negotiated at the curb.
Child seats, $25 per seat
Rear-facing, forward-facing, and booster seats on request, with the child's age and weight given 48 hours ahead.
Pets ride along
Dogs and cats travel in all vehicles at no additional fee — mention it at booking so the vehicle is prepared.
Destination-side accessibility
JFK and LaGuardia both ask travelers needing mobility support to arrange it in advance through their airline. Guild Hall states it is an Accessibility Verified Destination via Wheel the World (Guild Hall). None of that describes what we can do for you — ask.
Door-to-door assistance
Chauffeurs assist between the vehicle and the curb; assistance to a door, path, or lobby is confirmed case by case — raise it at booking so it's arranged in advance.
Wheelchair-accessible vehicles
Availability is confirmed for your specific date and pickup at quote — ask when you book so the right vehicle is reserved.
A car isn't always the right answer
The South Fork Commuter Connection and Hampton Jitney both serve solo, light-luggage weekday travel; Hampton Hopper runs a free local shuttle network in season. A chauffeured car earns its place when you have luggage, a group, a deadline, mobility needs, a late finish, alcohol in the plan, or a day that ends elsewhere.
