Car Service

Chauffeured sedans, SUVs, and Sprinter vans for Philadelphia — tri-state runs into the city, PHL transfers, 30th Street Station meets, Convention Center days, event nights, and weddings.

You can request a chauffeured car for Philadelphia. Chauffeur Service NYC publishes Philadelphia coverage naming Center City, University City, the Main Line, King of Prussia, and Old City, and sells New York to Philadelphia as a city-to-city corridor route, with roadshow work described there as well. No page states an exact Pennsylvania boundary, so confirm your address first.

Published: fixed all-inclusive quotes with tolls, parking, and fuel included, gratuity optional and no surge, six vehicle classes from Executive Sedan to Jet Sprinter, hourly as-directed from a 3-hour minimum, 24/7 booking, and corporate accounts with monthly invoicing. Read coverage practically: a tri-state trip ending in Philadelphia is clearly published; a trip that begins and ends inside Pennsylvania — hotel to Convention Center, Main Line to 30th Street — should be confirmed in writing at booking rather than assumed.

Licensed, insured for-hire ground transportation. See our About and Credentials & Trust pages for how the service operates.

Why pre-book

Why Philadelphia trips are arranged in advance

One city, many different trips

A corridor run from Manhattan, a Convention Center day, a 30th Street meet, and a South Philadelphia event night are different problems in vehicle, timing, and curb reality.

Price fixed before the ride

The vehicle class is named, the price is quoted in advance for point-to-point and hourly trips, and nothing is added after the fact.

Continuity where it's published

On hourly / as-directed bookings, the chauffeur stays with you throughout with no rebooking between stops. Two transfers are two assignments — don't assume the same car or person returns.

Same-day round trips, shaped early

The car either holds in Philadelphia between your legs or is released and returns — only one is a single continuous assignment. Say which you want at booking.

Curbs are assigned by operator type

30th Street Station and the stadium district both split pickup areas by service type. Agreeing the exact meeting point in advance is what makes the handover work.

Assistance available on request

Older adults and passengers with mobility needs can ask at booking what assistance is available, so it's arranged in advance rather than at the curb.

What are you doing in Philadelphia?

Coming from New York or the tri-state

One long leg. Give both addresses and say whether you want a return.

Same-day there and back

The car waits or comes back — two shapes, two prices. Say which at booking.

Flying via PHL

Terminals and meeting points are on our PHL page.

Arriving at 30th Street Station

Say which side; curbs are split by service type.

A Center City hotel or tower

Several stops with soft timing reads as hourly.

A Convention Center show

Badge times and load-in windows drive the schedule.

The South Philadelphia event district

Arrival is easy; egress is the problem. Agree the meeting point first.

A wedding, shoot, or group weekend

Multi-vehicle, multi-venue, one manifest — see weddings.

Areas people ask about: Center City · Rittenhouse · Old City · Society Hill · Northern Liberties · Fishtown · South Philadelphia · University City · Fairmount · Chestnut Hill · Germantown · the Main Line · King of Prussia. Naming an area is not confirmation it is served — confirm your address at booking. New Jersey pickups live on our New Jersey page; city-end pickups on Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The corridor

Coming from New York and the tri-state

Point-to-point is one fixed price built from addresses, vehicle class, and time of day, with tolls and parking inside it. This page publishes no drive time, route, or exit on purpose: a corridor run moves with hour, day, weather, incident, and roadwork. Ask for a departure window in writing, tied to your Philadelphia deadline.

Two things change the trip's shape. A same-day round tripeither holds the vehicle in Philadelphia or releases it and returns one — only the first is a single continuous assignment, so say which you want and ask how holding time is priced. And when a booking touches Manhattan's Congestion Relief Zone (MTA), the congestion toll is treated as a toll inside the all-inclusive quote — never billed separately.

Stated carefully

PHL lives on a different page

Terminals, pickup zones, meeting arrangements, and international arrivals are on our PHL airport car service page, not repeated here. Complimentary airport wait time is 60 minutes for domestic arrivals and 90 for international, measured from actual landing — and your booking confirmation states the allowance for your specific pickup, so check it there. For the New York-area airports, see airport transfers.

30th Street Station and the rail alternative

Verified July 31, 2026.

Amtrak publishes William H. Gray III 30th Street Station at 2955 Market Street and separates its curbs by service: taxi pickup on the 29th Street side, rideshare on the Market Street side, and pick-up/drop-off outside the West End at 30th Street (Amtrak). A private-hire car and a ride app are not sent to the same curb — agree which applies, and the exact point, before you travel.

SEPTA is the honest alternative for a light-luggage solo traveler: a $2.90 bus and Metro fare, Regional Rail fares of $5.00 to $13.00 by zone and payment method, and Airport Line rates of $5.00 to Eastwick and $8.75 to Center City, higher on board (SEPTA), with Airport Line service seven days a week, 5 a.m. to midnight (SEPTA). If you last traveled here during the funding fight: PennDOT approved SEPTA's use of up to $394 million of state capital assistance for operations, letting SEPTA restore full service on September 14 alongside a 21.5% fare increase (SEPTA). A car earns its place with luggage, a group, a deadline, or a late finish.

Local guide

Center City: hotels, offices, Convention Center

Three questions decide every Center City booking: where the car stops, how long it holds, and whether it comes back. The Pennsylvania Convention Center publishes 1101 Arch Street and states the facility spans more than six blocks (Pennsylvania Convention Center) — your badge's door may be several streets from the door your driver is aiming at, so give cross-streets. The Center also publishes that surrounding garages are unaffiliated and directs visitors to the Parking Authority for current rates (Pennsylvania Convention Center), and SEPTA notes the Center sits above Jefferson Station (SEPTA). A car standing by between sessions is an hourly booking with a stated holding location, not a transfer with an open-ended pause — settle the standing arrangement at booking.

Campuses and hospital visits

Hospital corridor trips

University City and the Center City hospital corridor produce a particular booking: someone anxious, often unwell or accompanying a patient, on a schedule set by a procedure. Give the department and entrance, not the hospital name. Say if the passenger is being discharged, because discharge times move.

Campus visits

Penn Medicine, Jefferson, Temple, CHOP, Penn, and Drexel are destination categories only — no relationship with any of them is claimed. Name the building and the visitor entrance, and say if a wheelchair, walker, or oxygen concentrator travels so it's confirmed before the vehicle is assigned.

Local guide

The South Philadelphia event district

Leaving is where a pre-booked car earns its money.

Lincoln Financial Field

Publishes that the Philadelphia Police direct traffic patterns for fans leaving the Sports Complex, and that you may be sent a way you would not normally take; public parking is published at $50 regular and $100 oversized for Eagles games, $40 and $80 for concerts (Lincoln Financial Field). After a large event your driver does not choose the way out.

Xfinity Mobile Arena

Publishes a dedicated Lyft pick-up lot in Lot D, active during events (Xfinity Mobile Arena). Venues here assign pickup areas by operator type — a hired car is not covered by an app's lot, so agree a post-event meeting point at booking, away from the apron.

Citizens Bank Park

The Phillies name Park Avenue Worldwide as their preferred Premium Ground Transportation Partner, with drop-off and pick-up directly on Phillies Drive for that operator's guests (Philadelphia Phillies). A named partner has a named privilege — confirm your own drop-off point rather than assuming it.

The historic district, markets, and waterfront

Independence National Historical Park

Publishes the Visitor Center open daily 9 a.m.–6 p.m., the Liberty Bell Center 9 a.m.–5 p.m., and Independence Hall as open house 9–9:50 a.m. without tickets, then ticketed tours every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; screening closes at least 15 minutes before buildings close (NPS). A fixed slot behind a screening queue means the drop-off needs a buffer. The park notes paid parking may be available at the AutoPark at Independence Mall, 41 N. 6th Street, and directs coaches to the Callowhill Bus Center (NPS) — in a large vehicle, that distinction decides whether the handover works.

Markets and museums

Reading Terminal Market publishes daily hours of 8 a.m.–6 p.m. (Reading Terminal Market) — an early close that does not pair with a late-afternoon arrival. The Philadelphia Museum of Art published 10 a.m.–8:45 p.m. on the day this page was reviewed (Philadelphia Museum of Art) — a reason to book the return leg with the outbound.

The waterfront

PennDOT is replacing and expanding the covered section of I-95 at Penn's Landing under a $329 million I-95/CAP project, building an 11.5-acre Park at Penn's Landing and a South Street pedestrian bridge (DRWC) — a reason to build margin into a waterfront arrival.

The 2026 calendar:Philadelphia's semiquincentennial slate includes 52 Weeks of Firsts running January to December 2026 and the Museum of the American Revolution's The Declaration's Journey through January 3, 2027; the city also hosted FIFA World Cup 26 matches between June 11 and July 19, 2026 — see our FIFA World Cup 2026 hub — and an MLB All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park in mid-July (Visit Philadelphia). On a heavy weekend, hotel blocks fill, curbs are managed, and closures appear late.

Illustrative itineraries

Build your Philadelphia itinerary

Illustrative structures only — not quotes, availability, or operational promises. Paste this into the quote form: pickup address plus entrance · start time · stops in order with dwell time · deadlines · passenger and bag counts · equipment · drop-off · return or not.

A corridor day

One inbound leg to a named Center City street, meetings, one return — priced as two legs or a held day.

A convention day

Hourly, above the 3-hour minimum, with a stated standby location between sessions.

An event night

Outbound and return booked together, with the post-event meeting point agreed away from the apron.

Passenger and luggage counts are separate numbers, and luggage volume often decides between an SUV and a Sprinter. Corridor trips arrive with trade-show cases, garment bags, camera carts, and move-in boxes — send the bag count and describe anything oversized. If the exact model is unavailable, dispatch explains the substitution before pickup, not at the curb. See the full fleet page for every class.

Weddings & groups

Weddings, events, groups, and production

Event transportationis a manifest built with your coordinator — dedicated dispatch on the day and on-site staging coordinated with venue management, at 2 to 4 weeks' notice or 4 to 6 for five or more vehicles. Wedding transportation covers party pickups, staggered arrivals, photo transfers, guest shuttle loops, and a departure vehicle under one booking, with 2 to 4 weeks' notice and earlier for the May-to-October peak. Historic and institutional venues set strict rules — insurance certificates, vendor lists, load-in windows, staging areas, and curfews should reach dispatch at first contact.

Pricing

How pricing works, without inventing a number

Point-to-point is one fixed price built from pickup, destination, vehicle class, and time of day, with tolls, parking, and fuel inside it, gratuity optional, and no surge. Hourly is billed per hour against a 3-hour minimum, with extensions in 30-minute increments. No standard Philadelphia rate is published — starting figures on the booking page are Manhattan examples, so treat no number here as your price and request a written quote in the booking form, or contact us if your day is complicated.

Quote-readiness checklist: date · pickup window · pickup address and entrance · drop-off and entrance · stops in order · passenger and bag counts · oversized items · vehicle class · format · return leg · flight or train details · venue requirements · accessibility needs.

What happens if…

Settle these at booking, not on the night.

A meeting overruns

Inside hourly, waiting is included and extensions run in 30-minute increments. On a scheduled return, ask how a late finish is handled.

Your train is delayed

30th Street splits its curbs by service type — tell dispatch which one, and confirm the exact point.

An event lets out at once

Expect a police-managed exit and a meeting point away from the apron, agreed in advance.

A road is closed

The waterfront has live PennDOT construction, and the Phillies point fans to 511pa.com and 511nj.org — build margin into arrivals.

The group grows

Bag volume, not seat count, decides the class — update both numbers and the vehicle is re-checked before assignment.

You need to cancel

24+ hours ahead is a full refund or credit; 12–24 hours 50%; 2–12 hours 75%; under 2 hours or a no-show, full fare. Changes 24+ hours ahead are free.

Accessibility & family

Accessibility and multigenerational planning

Say what's needed at the quote stage

Child seats, luggage space, and mobility needs are confirmed before the vehicle is assigned — not negotiated at the curb.

Child seats, $25 per seat

Rear-facing, forward-facing, and booster seats on request, with the child's age and weight given 48 hours ahead.

Pets ride along

Dogs and cats travel in all vehicles at no additional fee — mention it at booking so the vehicle is prepared.

Destination-side accessibility

Verified July 31, 2026: the 4:20 p.m. Independence Hall expanded tour is published as not wheelchair accessible (NPS), and SEPTA publishes SEPTA Access paratransit at $5.75 per one-way program-member trip (SEPTA). That describes the destinations, not this operator — ask us what we can do for you.

Door-to-door assistance

Chauffeurs assist between the vehicle and the curb; assistance to a door, lobby, or department is confirmed case by case — raise it at booking.

Wheelchair-accessible vehicles

Availability is confirmed for your specific date and pickup at quote — ask when you book so the right vehicle is reserved.

An honest note

A car isn't always the right answer

Amtrak and SEPTA both serve the light-luggage solo traveler well, and SEPTA restored full service on September 14 (SEPTA). A chauffeured car earns its place with luggage, a group, equipment, a fixed deadline, a mobility need, a late finish, or a same-day round trip the timetable cannot shape.
