The High Line's hours vary by season — 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. from April 1 to November 30, and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. from December 1 to March 31. Elevators are located at four points through the park, and park-level access is also available at 30th Street at Hudson Yards and at 31st Street and Dyer Avenue at the Moynihan Connector (Friends of the High Line).

That geography is the booking decision. A walk along the High Line does not end where it began, so a return booked to the entry point is the most common Chelsea planning error. Give the street where you intend to leave the park, and if a member of the party needs step-free access, name an elevator location rather than a stair entrance and check the park's published elevator status before you travel. For a group, the same rule applies at greater cost: fourteen people descending at different stairs is a dispersal problem, not a pickup. Book a single meeting point at street level and give it to everyone before the walk starts.

The gallery blocks reward a planned route and punish an improvised one, because opening hours are narrow and vary by house. Pace Gallery publishes its New York address as 540 West 25th Street and 508 & 510 West 25th Street, with hours of 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Friday, and closed Saturday and Sunday (Pace Gallery). Two consequences follow: a weekend gallery afternoon may not work at all in high summer, and on weekdays the useful window closes earlier than dinner — which makes an hourly booking that runs a gallery route into an early meal more efficient than two separate transfers.

The neighborhood's museum picture has also changed. The Rubin, long associated with West 17th Street, now describes itself as a global museum presenting Himalayan art through projects at other institutions rather than a Chelsea gallery visit (Rubin Museum) — do not book a car to a museum door without checking that the door is open. At Chelsea's southern edge, the Whitney publishes exactly the detail a car service needs: 99 Gansevoort Street, with car services directed to that address, cab hailing best at Gansevoort and Hudson, full access via ramp and elevator with free manual wheelchairs first-come, ground-floor admission always free, and full admission free on Friday nights and the second Sunday of every month (Whitney Museum).

Chelsea's northern blocks absorb convention, arena, and rail demand. Event transportation covers manifests, multi-vehicle deployment, and staging arranged with the venue, with 2 to 4 weeks' notice recommended and 4 to 6 weeks for five or more vehicles. For a post-event return shorter than the 3-hour hourly minimum, describe the plan at booking and ask which format fits.

Two verified anchors sit at that edge: Moynihan Train Hall at 351 West 31st Street, with taxi pickup on 31st Street between 8th and 9th Avenues and pick-up and drop-off in the 33rd Street mid-block area (Amtrak), and Madison Square Garden at 4 Pennsylvania Plaza (MSG) — see our Penn Station and Madison Square Garden venue pages. The Javits Center's own site could not be read during this review, so this page publishes no Javits facts — use the convention center's official pages alongside our Javits Center venue page and give that information to dispatch when you book. At Hudson Yards, the Vessel publishes hours of 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and lists nearby parking along West 30th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues (Vessel) — useful context for where vehicles can and cannot sit in that corner of the neighborhood.

NYC DOT publishes the categories that decide whether a car can stop: Neighborhood Loading Zones provide curb space for package deliveries, taxi and car-service pick-up and drop-off, and active loading of personal vehicles; Hotel Loading Zones are signed No Standing and allow quick guest drop-off and baggage handling; and at No Parking locations drivers may drop off or pick up passengers (NYC DOT). DOT notes its own map may lag posted regulations — posted signs always control. No car service can promise curb space at a specific hour, so give the building entrance you intend to use and agree the pickup arrangement with dispatch at booking.

Event transportation covers multi-vehicle deployments with manifests and staging arranged with the venue — 2 to 4 weeks' notice is recommended, or 4 to 6 weeks for five or more vehicles. Wedding transportation is a full-day plan built with your planner, recommended at 2 to 4 weeks and earlier in peak season. For a single group vehicle, the Executive Sprinter seats up to 14 — give head count and bag count as separate numbers, and name the loading point at each end.

Point-to-point is a single fixed price based on pickup, destination, vehicle class, and time of day. Hourly is billed per hour with a 3-hour minimum and 30-minute extensions; Sprinters are custom-quoted. All of Chelsea sits inside the Congestion Relief Zone (MTA) — the congestion toll is treated as a toll inside the all-inclusive quote and is never billed separately.
