New Jersey Chauffeur Service — Tri-State Professional Transportation

Chauffeur Service NYC provides professional chauffeur service across New Jersey — from the Hudson River waterfront communities of Jersey City and Hoboken to the corporate corridors of Morristown and Short Hills, the university town of Princeton, the cultural hub of Montclair, and the affluent enclaves of Bergen County. Whether you need a daily corporate commute through the Lincoln Tunnel, an airport transfer to Newark or JFK, or event transportation to MetLife Stadium, we handle every detail.

Every NJ booking includes all tunnel and bridge tolls — Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel, George Washington Bridge, Goethals Bridge, NJ Turnpike. The price quoted is the price paid. No toll receipts to sort out, no surprise charges on arrival. Our chauffeurs navigate NJ traffic daily and know exactly which crossing to take based on real-time conditions — something GPS apps consistently get wrong during tunnel backups. We also connect NJ clients to Connecticut via the George Washington Bridge and I-95 corridor.

Business

Why New Jersey Professionals Choose Car Service

NJ is home to more Fortune 500 headquarters than any state except New York and Texas. The daily commute across the Hudson demands reliability.

Corporate Commuters — NJ to Manhattan

Thousands of executives commute daily from Jersey City, Hoboken, Short Hills, and Bergen County to Midtown and Downtown Manhattan. Our chauffeurs handle the Lincoln Tunnel and Holland Tunnel crossings in real time — switching between tunnels and the GWB based on live traffic. You work in the back seat instead of white-knuckling through tunnel traffic. Monthly account billing available for daily riders.

Pharmaceutical Corridor — Route 202/206

New Jersey's Route 202/206 corridor is the densest concentration of pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the world — Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Novartis, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and dozens of biotech firms. We provide airport-to-campus transfers from EWR and TEB, inter-office shuttles between NJ campuses, and executive transportation for site visits, board meetings, and FDA meetings.

MetLife Stadium Events

MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford hosts NFL football (Giants, Jets), major concerts, and will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final. We provide round-trip event service: pickup from anywhere in NJ, drop-off at the gate, and return pickup after the event. No surge pricing, no parking lot exit wait. MetLife is in New Jersey — we know every route in and out.

Princeton University

Airport transfers for parents, prospective students, visiting professors, and conference attendees. Princeton is 60–80 minutes from Newark Airport, 90+ from JFK. We handle move-in weekends, graduation, reunions, and campus visits year-round. Drop-off at Nassau Hall or any campus building.

Wall Street Commuters — Jersey City & Hoboken

The waterfront towers of Jersey City and Hoboken house thousands of finance professionals who work in Lower Manhattan and Midtown. When the PATH train is packed or down, a 15-minute Holland Tunnel crossing gets you to the office on time. We offer recurring morning pickups with priority dispatch.

Bergen County — Private Aviation

Tenafly, Englewood, and Alpine residents are 10–20 minutes from Teterboro Airport — the primary private aviation hub in the NYC metro area. We coordinate directly with FBOs (Meridian, Signature, Atlantic, Jet Aviation) for planeside pickup and drop-off. GWB access to Manhattan in 25–40 minutes.

FIFA World Cup 2026 — MetLife Stadium is in New Jersey

The 2026 World Cup Final takes place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ — not in New York City. That means NJ residents have home-field advantage for the biggest sporting event in the world. We provide airport transfers, hotel-to-stadium round trips, and multi-day tournament packages. Book early — demand will be unprecedented.

Crossings

NJ–NYC Tunnel & Bridge Guide

Your chauffeur picks the optimal crossing in real time. Here's how each one works.

Lincoln Tunnel

Connects North NJ (Hoboken, Bergen County, Route 3 corridor) to Midtown West. Three tubes handle 120,000 vehicles daily. Best for Midtown destinations. Rush hour: expect 15–30 min tunnel-to-tunnel. Your chauffeur monitors the Port Authority traffic cameras and approaches from the fastest angle — Helix vs. Route 495.

Holland Tunnel

Connects Jersey City and Newark area to Downtown Manhattan (Canal Street / SoHo). Two tubes. Best for Downtown, FiDi, and Lower Manhattan. Less congested than Lincoln Tunnel most hours. Can back up significantly westbound (Manhattan → NJ) between 4–7 PM on weekdays.

George Washington Bridge

Connects Bergen County (Fort Lee, Tenafly, Englewood, Alpine) to Upper Manhattan (Washington Heights). The busiest motor vehicle bridge in the world — 100 million crossings per year. Two levels (upper and lower). Best for Upper Manhattan, Bronx connections, and Westchester. Your chauffeur knows which level moves faster at any given hour.

Goethals Bridge

Connects Elizabeth/Newark area to Staten Island. Used for JFK-bound trips from South NJ (avoids Manhattan entirely). Route: Goethals → Staten Island Expressway → Verrazzano → Belt Parkway → Van Wyck. Useful when Lincoln/Holland are backed up. Replaced in 2018 with a modern cable-stayed span — smoother, wider, and better lit.

Local knowledge

New Jersey — What Your Chauffeur Knows

Our chauffeurs drive NJ daily. Here's the kind of local knowledge that makes a professional driver different from a GPS.

Hoboken rush hour

Washington Street backs up to the waterfront at 5 PM. Your chauffeur uses Willow Avenue or Park Avenue to bypass the main drag and reach the Lincoln Tunnel approach from the south side — saving 10–15 minutes on a bad day.

Newark Airport terminal access

The AirTrain connects terminals, but driving between them takes a specific loop road. Terminal C (United's hub) has the longest curbside pickup queue. Your chauffeur pre-positions in the cell phone lot and moves to curbside the moment you text — no circling, no waiting.

Bergen County Blue Laws

Bergen County still enforces Blue Laws — most retail stores are closed on Sundays. That means the roads around Paramus, Hackensack, and Route 4 are significantly quieter on Sundays. For GWB crossings, Sunday morning is the golden window — 25 minutes to Midtown, no traffic.

Princeton game days & graduation

Princeton University events — football Saturdays, reunions (late May), and graduation (early June) — flood Route 1 and Route 206 with traffic. Nassau Street becomes gridlocked. Your chauffeur approaches from the south via Washington Road or from the west via Faculty Road to reach campus drop-off points without sitting on Route 1. For graduation, we stage in the Lot 7 area and walk-in pickup from Nassau Hall.

NJ Turnpike: cars vs. trucks

Between Exits 8A and 14, the Turnpike splits into a car-only inner roadway and a truck/bus outer roadway. The car lanes are almost always faster. Your chauffeur knows which interchanges are car-only and positions in the inner roadway early — before the split forces a lane commitment. This alone saves 10–20 minutes on a typical Newark-to-GWB run.

The toll difference:A round trip through the Lincoln Tunnel costs $12–17 in tolls alone. Add NJ Turnpike tolls for longer routes and you're looking at $20–30 in tolls per trip. With our service, every toll is included — no surprises.

A Note on Tolls — They're All Included

Getting to and from New Jersey means crossing a toll bridge or tunnel. The Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel, George Washington Bridge, and Goethals Bridge all charge $12–17 per crossing during peak hours (E-ZPass rates vary). NJ Turnpike and Garden State Parkway tolls add up on longer routes to Princeton, Morristown, and South Jersey.

With Chauffeur Service NYC, every toll is included in your upfront quote. No envelope of toll receipts at the end. No surprise charges on your invoice. Whether your route requires one tunnel crossing or three toll roads, the price you see is the price you pay. This applies to every booking type — airport transfers, corporate commutes, hourly service, and event transportation.
